Art portfolio
Should a client wish to securitize art, that art must be stored in a duty free warehouse. Either the Soparfi acquires the art or receives it by subscription in kind. The valuation must come from a reputable company that is accepted by the service provider. Such a physical delivery triggers a realization and therefore a tax event to the current art holder.
The art portfolio must be held in a Luxembourg Soparfi, which is owned by the Compartment and created for this purpose. The Service Provider provides the Director and the Client can act as Art Advisor (Strategy Manager).
