Proposal vs Letter of engagement
...the document that really matters from a legal perspective is the Engagement Letter ("EL") and that is the one to be correctly dated.
The signed indicative proposal only give us more 'leverage' with the client in case for any reason later on he says he was not in agreement with the pricing for recurring services, that are not deal with in the EL, which only limits itself to the structuring services.
