Paying Agent for Amergeris
Amergeris is very slightly more expensive in terms of setup and ongoing minimums than Abalone. Beyond EUR 15m tickets, they get cheaper.
It was found that Amergeris pays CHF 8000 setup and running CHF 12k minimum or 8bps with the paying agent for a EUR 10m ticket. Abalone on the other hand has a lower setup and minimum but higher basis points.
Therefore tickets smaller than EUR 15mio should rather be settled via Abalone. On the other hand Amergeris can be used for U.S. investors as long as they are domiciled outside the USA.
